The lord milner hotel has a limited vegetarian menu, I repeat, limited vegetarian menu (so limited that you have to request a vegetarian meal, it's not on the menu). The coffee shop is open in the day serving light meals like salads, sandwiches and scones.
And don't forget maatjies, there are NO shops (or ATMs) in matjiesfontein so pack cash and snacks for those late night snack-attacks.
