MUSIC AND CULTURE:
Besides scheduled gigs, anyone brave enough is welcome to jam with The Buckfever Underground, so bring your own instruments (cowbells welcome).

Listen out for:

Corne and friends, the aucustic carnival blues band, singing tales of ghosts and lost lovers.

Adele on the antique pianos in town.

Ella Buckley to sing and play piano on the antique pianola in the Laird Arms bar.

And if we are fortunate, the Lord Milner Hotel staff will treat us to a acapella performance.

Nadine Botha poetry reading in the London red double dekker bus.

Local Matjiesfontein penny-whistle band Oom Kosies Orkes (Royal Lounge courtyard).

A’la Carte dinner at the Lord Milner Hotel (please dress smart/ casual as it’s hotel regulations)

1 x Wii demonstration and challenges: Motion response gaming system. On the ‘Bring ‘n Screen’, Royal Lounge.
Anyone can play
The system will be launched at the end of the month in South Africa, so in the small town of Matjiesfontein, there will be this public preview

Hotel Chapel: Werewolves - a French social game of accusations and death. Instructions are about 5 minutes long, and provided by a 100% French native. Played in groups of about 10.
