"We are going to create a wishing tree. The idea of the wishing tree is that passers by should leave a bit of themselves on the tree [not a like a toe or anything], and make a wish.
Imagine bits of torn off fabric from a shirt, a necklace, a poem, a photograph etc.
we will just find a suitable tree, and describe the wishing tree idea on a board, and hang it on the tree.
We will take a photo of the tree and all the bits and bobs attached to it at the end of the weekend, and then post it for all to see.
