Please note: there are no shops in Matjiesfontein
To pack: your own snacks or lunch picnic
Or order lunch at the Lairds Arms bar or in the towns one and only coffee shop

12pm:
Matjiesfontein Main road:
Show’n Tell Flag to be hoisted by Taryn and Luke

At unpredictable times watch out of:
-                    Historical town tour of Matjiesfontein village presented by the town mayor His Excellency Jonny Theunisen.
-              land art process/ideas and large rolls of white paper and newsprint along with crayons- create a rolling story - by Camilla
-                    Camera Obscura. By Luke &Taryn – location tbc

-       Bouncy Balls by Kelly
-       Volley Ball Net by Mandy (to pack: a volley ball anyone? Tbc
-       To pack: Hoolah hoops

2pm Matjiesfontein Courthouse:
Games and fun

-       Easy playlist by Julia (tbc)

-       DIY Corner: By Ruth, Charl and Milo (Basically hammers and nails and tools for toddlers)

-       Puppet Theatre and puppets: By Mandy (For Kids to give shows to one another)

-       Pass the Parcel with live music, by Adele and Romy

-       Jane and Jon (surprise with the kiddos – TBC)

-       Old fashioned games stand: By Marco, Marine, Cath
(apple bobbing and flour game, potato stamps )
             “It will be messy and fun and grown-ups can play too”



18h00 Lord Milner Hotel – Dining room Annex
A-la Carte menu
Children will be served dinner in the hotel dining room (annexure room) 
To pack: All children to be dressed up please

19h00 Lord Milner Hotel – Dining room
Dress in your vintage fashions for the A’la carte dinner at the Lord Milner Hotel (please dress smart/ casual as it’s hotel regulations)
 Adults meet for dinner and join the children
To pack: Dress up clothing

if we are fortunate, the Lord Milner Hotel staff will treat us to a acapella performance.

The children who have finished eating will start moving into the courthouse
After dinner adults move towards the courthouse

20h00 Matjiesfontein Courthouse
Live music and live events in the courthouse for children and adults.

Since we have not managed to book out the entire hotel  - the party has to stay in the Court house.

Please note children are welcome to stay and party with the adults
Hotel Babysitters are available should you wish to use them– please arrange with reception directly.
